ST. LOUIS RACE REPORT

The 13th round of the Monster Energy Supercross series roared into St. Louis, MO, and inside the Dome at America’s Center for this past weekend’s race, where Team Rocky Mountain ATV/MC-KTM-WPS riders took on the most technical track of the season.

Blake Baggett started his night with a strong ride in a heat race that had him battling teammate Davi Millsaps for 2nd place. After a few attempts at passing, he held on to finish 3rd, directly transferring to the main event.

Blake’s main event once again started off with him charging from deep in the field, and he rounded the first turn outside the top ten. However, Baggett sliced his way through the field and charged his way to a 7th-place finish. His hard work moves him into 6th place in championship points.

“I worked hard tonight,” said Blake. “My start wasn’t there in the main, but I was able to work my way through the field to finish inside the top ten. We will be back where we should be next week in Seattle.”

Team Rocky Mountain ATV/MC-KTM-WPS now heads to the Pacific Northwest city of Seattle, WA, where racing returns to CenturyLink Field for round 14 of the 2017 Monster Energy Supercross series.
