MINNEAPOLIS RACE REPORT

The seventh round of the Monster Energy Supercross season made its return to Minneapolis, MN, at the new U.S. Bank Stadium.

Blake Baggett made his way to the main event with a strong ride in his heat race. He looked good on the tight and technical track, making a late-race pass for the 4th and final transfer spot.

Baggett used the exceptional traction of his Dunlop MX tires to get a good launch out of the gate, rounding the first turn inside the top ten. He continued to fight for position throughout the race and would take 9th place at the checkered flag. Blake moves to 11th in the championship points.

“It wasn’t the night I had hoped for,” said Baggett. “I didn’t get the start I needed in the main and couldn’t move forward. We’ll regroup and be back where we should be in Atlanta next weekend.”

Team Rocky Mountain ATV/MC-KTM-WPS now heads to Atlanta, GA, for round eight of the 2017 Monster Energy Supercross Series.
